Opo pero HINDI po ganun kasimple.
My husband and I applied for tourist visa last year and got approved in October 2022.
As in HINDI na namin option ang mag-aral (student pathway), or express entry(kahit provincial nomination).
What was the plan? May niece ang husband ko sa New Brunswick at maghire sila ng tao by January 2023. May sister ang husband ko sa Alberta. So may tutuluyan (importante ito).
My husband flew in Alberta last December. Kasagsagan ng winter. For a first time traveller na lalayo sa pamilya, hindi ito madali. Need to be prepared emotionally and mentally.
From December to April naghanap kami ng possible employer sa Alberta.
B-A-W-A-L to diba?
Yes BAWAL but it happens. I do not encourage it. Kasama sa risk that you are willing to take.
He moved to New Brunswick and got his work permit via flagpoling(one-day-process). Seasonal ang work pero he grabbed it kesa naka tourist visa. Next plan is to find a non-seasonal work para makapag apply ako ng Open Work Permit, at Student permit ang dependent kids.
Ask help, ask questions. Be prepared. Always have a backup or a backout plan. Bakit may backout plan?
Good luck on your Canada adventures! Comment your questions. I'll try to answer them.
